Grace for your spirit

When I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. Ezekiel 3:18

This prophet was commissioned to speak God’s truth, warn the wicked, and allow them to live in freedom. If he didn’t, they would die. Further, God was going to hold him accountable for their loss, if he didn’t warn them. All Christians have most certainly been commissioned to warn the lost and bring them to life. Do we think we will be accountable for failing to do that? When we don’t, we literally help them perish. If we saw someone driving into the Grand Canyon, would we give them gas money for the trip, or disable their car? We will be called into account for our decision some day.
