Grace for your spirit
Now the people became like those who complain of adversity in the hearing of the LORD; and when the LORD heard it, His anger was kindled, and the fire of the LORD burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. Numbers 11:1
When we hear people complaining about their problems, it is hardly an uncommon thing. We may even accept that fact that Christians gripe constantly about what they don’t have in this world. We may accept it, but God does not. When He has given us His very best and all we can do is complain; it hurts Him. When we hear God’s will for our lives, and still complain, it makes Him angry. The reason we study the Bible is to find insight for living. We come to find comfort in our adversity, and seek God’s solution. When His Word makes us angry, we are certainly heading down the road to destruction. Let’s start rebuilding our faith today.
