But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. Matthew 24:36
As human beings living on earth, we are slaves to times and dates. If we met someone who was unconcerned about what time it is, what day it is, what month is it, or what year it is, we would think they were strange. As slaves, we can conclude that God is a slave to time as well. Is God controlled by Mayan calendars, signs on earth, and predictions of the end? If timing of the end is not the concern of angels, nor Jesus, it shouldn't be our business either. Let's resolve to serve God with all our hearts and not be concerned about playing the odds of being right on the right day
