Grace for your spirit
His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowedge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. II Peter 1:3-4
The promises of God are different from our promises. His promises come from His divine power and a divine purpose. They will always accomplish their purpose and that purpose will always help us and glorify Him. When we walk by His promises we can participate with His divine nature and escape the corruption in this world. He has the power and He gave the promises. Let's line up and enjoy the benefits. With the divine nature in us, our promises will take on the character of God. Let's go for it.
