Grace for your spirit
Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16
God is pleased with sacrifices. In the Old Covenant, the priests would continually bring burnt offerings to God. The smoke of those sacrifices rose to heaven as a tribute to their faithfulness. When we sing praises to God, bow our knees in the prayer of thanks, do good things and share, these are our sacrifices in the New Covenant. The fruit of our lips and hands is the fire burning in our lives as a sacrifice to God. How much smoke is coming from our sacrifices? May we make a commitment that the smoke of our sacrifices will be a constant and lasting. Let’s keep the fire burning in our lives every day.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit
Philippians 4:23
