Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. For I was very glad when brethren came and testified to your truth, that is, how you are walking in truth. III John 2-3
When we come to pray for others, do we have any idea what we can pray for today? There are five things that John mentions in these two short verses. 1) That they may prosper. 2)That they may be in good health. 3) For a soul that is faithful and prospering. 4) That brethren testify about their faithfulness. 5) That they continue to walk in truth, serving the Lord and His children. That is a powerful five point prayer that anyone and everyone could use daily. If you can’t think of anyone else to pray for today, put me on your prayer list. I would love all five of those things.
