The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting. Do not forsake the works of Your hands. Psalm 138:8
David walked before the Lord with confidence because he bowed before Him with confidence. He knew that Lord would protect and rescue him in time of trouble, and he would be saved. Aware of the Lord's lovingkindness, he trusted that the Lord would accomplish whatever concerned him. Let's walk with Him, and talk with Him, until we get to know Him that well too.
