And while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously. I Peter 2:23
When Jesus went to the cross, He had been beaten and abused all night long. Insults came from the religious leaders, the soldiers, and the crowd. Did He demand an apology, or say "You'll get yours someday? No. What did He say? He said, "Forgive them for they know not what they do !! That's how Jesus lived and that's how He died. How do you suppose He wants us to live and die?
