Grace for your spirit
If I say, "Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, and the light around me will be night," Even the darkness is not dark to You, and the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You. Psalm 139:11-12
People with evil deeds love the darkness rather than the light. We think the darkness covers our sins so people and God cannot see them. Like cockroaches in a dark room, we scatter when the light comes on. The world did just that when the true light, Jesus, came into the world. All that time we spend looking for darkness to cover our sins from God is a complete waste of time. Darkness and light are the same to God. We might as well come out of the darkness and into the light. That is His invitation for our salvation, plus the darkness isn't helping us anyway.
