And this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God. II Corinthians 8:5
The churches in Macedonia had outdone themselves beyond all expectation in giving and helping the apostle Paul. How did they manage it without strength and wealth? The totally gave themselves to the Lord and to His ministry, and the rest took care of itself. When we find ourselves with no time or money for the Lord's work, we should look at our commitment to Him, instead of finding more excuses for ourselves. May our lives and actions inspire others.
