A bruised reed He will not break. And a dimly burning wick He will not extinquish; He will faithfully bring forth justice. Isaiah 42:3
It is the nature of man to devalue people who we think are useless. It seems to give us license to abuse and eliminate those who are worth nothing to us. God is not like that. A bruised reed or a dim burning wick would be broken and snuffed out by most, but not by God. We should be thankful that God is not like that. God sees value in every living soul and does what is right. If God is that way, shouldn't we be that way too?
