Simon answered and said, "Master, we have worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets." Luke 5:5
Simon Peter set a very important precedent for us all with his statement and action. Although they had been unsuccessful, he was willing to do it again with the Lord's direction and blessing. The Bible gives us many directions that may seem wrong to us at first. What should our response be? "We will do as you say Lord." "You know more about it that we do". On this occasion, Peter followed the Lord's direction and ended up with more fish than he could pull in. Let's search the scriptures and change our course to God's direction.
