Grace for your spirit
Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; Hebrews 12:18Recently in Haiti, the ground shook and most of the buildings in the area collapsed. Immediately, the people that were where not killed sprang into action. Those with strong buildings offered their places as shelters for the needy. Grateful for their blessings, they used their blessings to help others in need. God has given us a kingdom that is earthquake proof. It cannot be shaken. When the world around us rocks, rolls, and shakes, we have been given a shelter built to stand. What will we do to show our gratitude for these blessings? Will we thank Him? Will we spring into service for Him and those in need, or will we polish our pews? We probably will never truly be thankful for our unshakable house, until we venture out into the world that is crumbling. Let's go. We will be the better for it.
