When Jesus was on earth, the rulers of the day cared about their possessions, their pursuits. and the rules of their law. They blasted Jesus for helping heal someone on the Sabbath, and Jesus confronted them. Today, we hold the keys to the kingdom and have the opportunity to open the doors of the kingdom to many, but first we must care about people. If our possessions, pursuits, and rules, keep us from loving people, we can become just the people Jesus called hypocrites
