Grace for your spirit
Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have believed and come to know that You are the Holy One of God. John 6:68-69
When the teachings of Jesus would get a little hard to follow, sometimes people want to quit. The question is, quit for what? If we are interesting in spiritual things and want to be with God eternally, our options are extremely limited. Peter knew that Jesus was the way, and the only way. When we truly come to know Jesus as the Holy One of God, we will know that if we quit, the devil is our only other option. The devil has the words of eternal damnation. Let's stop and think carefully before we make the wrong decision.
