After quieting the crowd, the town clerk said, "Men of Ephesus, what man is there after all who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is guardian of the temple of the great Artemis and of the image which fell down from heaven? So, since these are undeniable facts, you ought to keep calm and to do nothing rash. Acts 19:35-36
Every day we are bombarded with information that is false. Politician, preachers, and uninformed neighbors fill us with wrong information. These were the "so called facts" given to the crowd. All the information was completely wrong, and then called "undeniable facts". Artemis was not an image then fell from heaven. If so, she certainly wouldn't have needed protection from the city. When we are bombarded with so called facts, let's turn on our "lie detector". Search the scriptures to see if these things are so.
