Now it came about on the next day that an evil spirit from God came mightily upon Saul, and he raved in the midst of the house, while David was playing the harp with his hand, as usual; and a spear was in Saul's hand. A church member was complaining about new contemporary Christian music. It was pointed out that the song was a Psalm of David and over 3000 years old. Well the member replied, "now I know why Saul threw spears at him." Saul didn’t throw spears because he didn’t like the music. He was filled with evil, suspicion, and hatred toward David. When we start criticizing the worship of others, we need to check our motives. Is it their song, or our evil spirit?
